The menu's for changing graphics settings and configuring controllers should have been made more user friendly. The name of the wheel itself should show up in the options, just like it would say Keyboard or the name of a game pad. There are specific profiles within the game that someone has already mentioned. I own a G25 and I did find NFS Shift a bit difficult to set up when I first bought it. I could use my KB tray for both wheel and stick but the tray does not lock, it rolls back n forth freely plus i'd have to move my KB and re-route its wire every time.not sure what do do here either but it would position the wheel and stick where i need it.
To set it all up and down is kinda a pain, wireless wouldve been nice i guess.what do you guys do? i should just stfu and deal or do you guys have a quick method? This is not something i can have always set on my desk which is small to begin with. 4 wires all off of the wheel, i think a quick single connect harness off of the Pedals would be nicer. The wires!! omg, i did not realize the annoyance factor here. How do you guys set it up to where its all the right position? i cannot get the shifter to tighten enough on the glass to be stable which is too far anyway, i need it on my chair somehow.Any advice? The shifter's clamp is different than wheel. the wheel sits too high and a bit too far to be comfy, my lap is too low of course. I have a glass desk, So its thinner than the normal desk.

I can't figure out how to change controls to wheel, So i tried to create a profile with the Driver software and realized how it sucks i have to launch the game from the profile.but still does not work. Its not a game i hardly play so with the gamepad, i usually spin out or something, This definitly improved the control i had along with the realism. I aced the tracks with it and never crashed once. On PS3 with GT: Prologue.Flawless!! immediately works and feels perfect.
Lesson learned but that is going to be really annoying every time i use it. It caused me to drop the wheel as i had not completed positioning it yet. One thing i did not expect was when it first powers on, the wheel goes nuts, turns left,right and centers. The whole thing itself is awesome but i found some drawbacks i'd like some opinion on. Last racing wheel i had was a cheap Saitek many years ago and the feedback was so noisy.
